Prophecy, Part 5 He could not remember taking steps prophetic love transcends time and space but found himself again with her, transformed as if into one soul's mate, upon satin sheets sharing aspirations of once upon a time, He wanted to ravage her senses, lavish her with words, savor every dimension of her cinnamon flesh as the aroma of their conjoining consumed his own senses he felt the intoxication of her when perfumed prophecy fully captivates all senses Then after what seemed a lifetime of loving, they laid as if they had become captured by Michelangelo himself, two still lives of marble, gleaming alabaster upon a canvas of satin slumbering as one soul. Nocturnal shadows are a strange thing, for again, as before, the gray dream came unto him just before the dawn's hour and what once was the old woman, the teller of fortunes the prophetess of destiny was now his lovely auburn moth adorned in splendid silver gown, her hair in flow, her features in glow shimmering in a living halo. He could barely hear her now, as she sang softly only to him My love, I am of celestial prophet's will Sent by poets your soul to thrill Word of spirit that may e'er flow Given you now by moonlight's glow In the time it takes to slow awake from slumber's dream he remembered the crash the headlines her funeral his loss and alone now, amid the satin her cinnamon scent extracted from wafts of summer air His poet's voice whispered in her voice his name just as she had done in the hours of their love making. Now, he understands, and taking up his pen as he had once taken her with full desire but gentle caress Without artificial force, smooth thoughts from heart to pen began as an effortless flow of cinnamon ink filled page after page permanent, incontrovertible poetry, as her aroma permeated the room. He felt as if he moved with a last movement, an overture as a crescendo of pen to a verse her verse. Unaware of the soft light from the corner of the room, as the forever of her love filled his pen with eternity, she could hear the scratching form the infinite testimony of their love, Now with prophecy fulfilled A poet's write forever willed Words of thee infinitely stream A lover's writer's rewarded dream [This message has been edited by Sunshine (06-19-2003 08:30 PM).] |

Patricia, thank you so much, for allowing our voices, pens, muses to join in such a duet. That we were able to get a whole story done is, well, phenomenal in some ways...but those who commented that we were "seamless" is only because you offer such wonderful content, and I, the mere assistant in this labor of love. Rest well now, and know that you did well. Thank you! |

Alright girls, it seems you have me hooked on a soap opera! How did you do that, huh? Another round of goose bumps... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I am reading this in the most amazing storm right now...but there is thunder and lightning so I have to get off here! But, it's a perfect ending, and yes, you two blend as if writing from one pen! Love it |

I am taking this opportunity to thank all of our readers. This has been one of the great experiences of my life. Just ask my friends here at home...I can't stop talking about this collaboration and the series of poems that came from it. During the process, I learned so much from Karilea...believe me, she knows. Every day, I told her what a wonderful learning and growing experience this was for me. I not only learned of, about, and from Karilea, but also learned something about myself as well. So, warm hugs and a great thanks to all of you! And Karilea, well, you know how I feel about you. God bless you, my friend. Patricia |

Series are not easy to write. So the idea for this one goes to Patricia. As I told her, I only came in with cement and paint and had a great time in working with her. Thank you, readers...you brought so many smiles to us with your comments! Thank you! |

ah..an ending that takes the one to again find his pen..and the things written are from himself..not forced into being by a desire..but now by a need...to capture, to paint, to re-live... Indeed a series worth saving to savor again and again... Bravo you two... Bravo! |
