Everyday is picking lint off or sewing patches for a life which has dulled in too many cycles Ripped jeans and grass strains were a sign of play much older now it's the sign of another beating I need new clothes or none at all I'm tired of these rags I'm tired of alot of things in fact I'm just tired and need to sleep I wonder if there are answers under grass as the world fades to black in the last blink of these eyes I wonder whether new ones will open somewhere new as something new or perhaps there's nothing at the end of things And I'm okay with this eternal sleep sounds too good to pass up for one who barely sleeps at all You can have your harps and choirs all I ask is you keep it down and let me rest in peace [This message has been edited by Aenimal (06-21-2003 06:36 PM).] |

An ominous write, but very well done. I pray this might not be your own true feelings (?) There's sunshine above the clouds! It has a way of peeking through and shining warmth! Blessings!
