with special thanks to Snow...

Tears fell
as river's rage
once inexorable--
now dammed
(forever damned)
behind a wall
of indifference
drowning
in the numbing calm
of still waters

Yes, sad to say, sometimes the still waters numb rather than heal.
Good to see you here, Happy Thanksgiving m'friend!

I hate that wall... it is so hard sometimes to find a crack in it

Another nice one, Ed

(big hugggsssssss) I can't even begin to believe why some believe a river should be dammed up, after all the river must find the ocean for the whole spiritual confluence of life to work! (sigh) Indifference is a kink in the way things work, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Edder, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Edder -- I really liked this.  I have one called Still Waters too.  I have been trying to give you the address to it but it keeps posting additional messages below.  Sorry about that.
Here we go finally, maybe: /pip/Forum83/HTML/001170.html
