I was walking down the lonely streets
without a bit of food to eat.
The clouds above were turning grey
no place to hide, no place to stay.
Raindrops fell with cruel intent,
one step later,
I was thoroughly wet.
Where did all the people go?
Don't look now,
I told you so.
Without a bit of food to eat,
my mind has no way to compete.
Delusions, illusions, everywhere
it took some time,
but I don't care.
To swear at those,
who pass me by,
who don't ask how
and won't ask why,
I'm walking down the lonely streets,
without a bit of food to eat.
