The moon grew full over the sea And rose into the cloudless heaven Just a sliver gone from fullness But lights the dark land so we see Now three score where once were seven Escaping to life through darkness Trapped in the attempt to escape Many enemy overwhelms Our backs against the quick river Thoughts return to a peaceful lake Before this warrior’s death realm Full armored I walk in water. I glance lastly up to the moon Knowing that I will join her soon. I like the "full armoured I walk on water", line - it's a classic Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Thank you, Cpat Hair, Pleased you liked this small series, It was pulled from a old story Just modified to a different format. Thank you, Sunshine, The fact that you enjoyed Is thanks enough for me. Thank you, Kethry, Glad you got some enjoyment form my words Thank you, Radrook, Yes those things would have made a dramatic addition, But they were not in the original story, Perhaps I’ll write with those elements in the future, Pleased you liked this Gloom |
