Hi Vicky. I saw this at the link Karen gave..shadowpoetry.com. I copied and pasted this part about the Triolet.......

Triolet
A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines.  Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and  7th lines
repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well.  The rhyme scheme is simple:  ABaAabAB, capital
letters representing the repeated lines.

Make writing a Triolet more challenging!  Make each line 8 syllables in length (4 metrical feet),
written in iambic tetrameter (the more common way), or try it in pentameter (English version)
where each line only has 10 syllables(5 metrical feet).

In the examples, though, most of them capitalized all of the first letters of each line. So, I guess it doesn't really matter, right?

Right...

I'm guessing that what threw you off was the capitalization
of the A's and B's in the explanation of the rhyme scheme.
Those letters were only capitalized to show that
those particular lines were the repeated ones,
but the capitalization of the actual poem can be
done in any way that you choose.

Anyway...I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't
missing something, before I assumed that you misunderstood.

Bottom line?...You did an EXCELLENT job, and wrote
a perfect triolet...I truly do love it.

Ethel, your triolet is perfect
those are the stickler rules

I am happy LOL

Chris, yours is beautiful!
you need not have me look at it

I didnt mean to start a fuss
Goodnight
