Ruby

She, accursed with red ruby lips
That pout and purse at me in trust
From which sweet words of love doth slip
She, accursed with red ruby lips
As she puts hands to slender hips
And bids me love her as I must
She, accursed with red ruby lips
That pout and purse at me in trust.

A Triolet is a poetic form
consisting of only 8 lines.
Within a Triolet, the 1st,
4th, and7th lines repeat,
and the 2nd and 8th lines
do as well.  The rhyme
scheme is simple:
ABaAabAB, capital letters
representing the repeated lines.

K-
How perfect!  I must admit I peeked at this challenge...I chose Ruby as well.  The triolet scared the heck out of me!  And you know how I feel about sonnets right now!  LOL
Ruby is my birthstone...so I was thinking something along those lines- perhaps free verse. We shall see.  I need you to crack the whip...hmmm, maybe you just did!

Absolutely perfect write!
