As she sets with memory's and a frown on her face gazing at what was once just a little shanty town now all in ashes then abruptly she starts walking up the road that leads to the interstate stopping along the way to pick a few wild flowers to place on her loved ones place of eternity approaching the old rickety wooden bridge she lingers day dreaming and watching the water pass under flowing on it's way carrying her reflections and leaving her with images of past then she hears in the distant the roar of the bus groaning up the long hill as she runs to catch the last bus for the day carrying only one ole suit case stuffed with all her possessions she gets to the bus stop just in time Then taking one last look back as she enters the bus tears fall down her blush cheeks and her heart pounds rapidly as she sets by a man with a warm smile as he helps her place her suit case away he asks where you heading litl lady she dries her tears smiles and says I'm going to find my dreams (go here for beginning) /pip/Forum81/HTML/003217.html [This message has been edited by QjQ (09-19-2003 02:39 AM).] |

I could see every moment in this. and I do thank you for obliging me by continuing the story. A little bit of spit and grit in this, and I loved it. (I still think there's a whole lotta story inbetween tho...grin) thank you for this. Nice. |

"along the way to pick a few wild flowers to place on her loved ones place of eternity" ~ I can visualize it all in my mind's eye. "approaching the old rickety wooden bridge she lingers day dreaming and watching the water pass under flowing on it's way carrying her reflections and leaving her with images of past" ~ Truly poetic "he asks where you heading litl lady she dries her tears smiles and says I'm going to find my dreams" ~ Poignant ending to a moving story! Thank you for honoring the requests of your readers to continue the original poem! EA |

(big hugggsssssss) Awwwwwww, I wish it ended a bit happier though, dearest friend, as she's been through so much and though I'm happy to see her enthused in following her dreams, I wish she got more comfort and something special was salvaged from there! (sigh) This was a wonderful story, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Glenn, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |
