where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-09-17 03:31 AM

I know, you have denied me.
I haven't earned your love.

One letter tells a million apologies,
but I am only one.
Trust takes all the dignified ways to go,
to take away the part
of the pain.. that you alone have caused.

It isn't like me, to feel guilt for
what I'm not at fault.. Nor
let you make me,
for what you've mistakenly lost.

I haven't seen the sun in weeks,
eyes have lightened to the taste of winter.

You have denied me, given
no fair chance or reason..

Traitor..

You bend not for the flowers.

wow

It isn't like me, to feel guilt for
what I'm not at fault.. Nor
let you make me,
for what you've mistakenly lost.

Honey, wow, all I can say is, all emotions
come to terms and will find you and him answers, and hopefully in a good, peaceful and kind way....

Your poems are so full of caring words...struggling at times, but so caring.  Many hugs sent your way and thank you for writing and sharing.

Strong, you are. Neither beauty nor happiness is possible without that. The ability to express both so well is icing on the cake.

Meghan, you've done it again. In a few short lines, you've spilled emotions that many people bottle up. Nicely written, though I can feel the hurt.
