Each day I watch you from afar I gaze across the way I never show my feelings As I see you walk away. You stole my heart so long ago Today you have it still I want to get to know you But I know I never will. I'd like to talk to you And hear what you have to say But every time I catch your eye I quickly look away. Skyshine, I had no idea what a rare gem this is! If this isn't near your best I'd like to see what is. This is truly a delightful poem. Somebody missed a very golden opportunity. All I can say is shame on them. Well done. |
