 Mistletoe Tears By: Noah Eaton 12/11/01 I’ve been battered I’ve been abused I’ve been broken I’ve been used How can I cope? This time around It’s been too few years Since I could ever sleep sound I cry in bed alone No one is home I am just A lonely strand of mistletoe But I am all alone I’m trapped in yearning Where are you Christmas? Have you forgotten me? Deep in my heart I’m lost and hollow Could you spare Another tomorrow? I feel helpless And you don’t care I’m just a broken boy Paralyzed and taken for granted I just want to be loved With all my friends I just want to spread my love Now I feel I should never open my mouth again I just want to be here But I feel lonely and I’m cold I guess I’m just A lonely strand of mistletoe I’m all alone I’m trapped in yearning Where are you Christmas? Have you forgotten me? Bury me Before I cry once more I can’t bear To just break more hearts I wore I just want to find The better part of me Is there any at all? Or am I drowning? I’m all alone I’m trapped in yearning Where are you Christmas? Have you forgotten me? You know Noah, the troubles we go through in life do indeed make us stronger, better people. I hope one day you will wake up and realize that. You're a good person with a great heart.
