|
Haunted remains of spectral dreams no longer anywhere to feed a hunger which no food can fill a need for love held without will. Supernatural love denied memories lost upon a sigh betrayal of hearts' dearest wish gone in a fragile moments kiss. Mystical touch of life remains through broken tears and shards of pain though absent, yet will love provide and spectral dreams shall cease to hide. I took a walk around the world to ease my troubled mind-I left my body lying somewhere in the sands of time. (3 Doors Down) |

I like the form and flow of this poem. It is one I will have to go to my corner and ponder a while. Dan Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream. |

I relate. I especially liked these lines: "memories lost upon a sigh" "gone in a fragile moment's kiss" WOW. Those are two beautifully and simply stated visual truths which really grabbed me.
