The Show as I sat there and watched I saw the story unfold when I listened, as well I heard the words left untold and the lies in the lives of those poor wretched souls who've been imprisoned since youth within the life they'd been sold and they can't escape now because they think they're too old so they sit back and watch to see the story unfold they will listen, as well to hear the words left untold and the lies in the lives of those poor youthful souls who want something for nothing and are, themselves, the ones sold only to learn their mistake as, they too, slowly grow old now, as we sit here and watch we'll see the story unfold if we listen, as well we'll hear the words left untold and the lies in the lives of those misguided souls who've come here to bargain for more power and gold though it is never enough to replace what they've sold because, in spite of it all they can't stop growing old. |

'and the lies in the lives of those poor wretched souls who've been imprisoned since youth within the life they'd been sold' This line really struck me as being the most telling truth of the day. |

There are stories within the stories of your words. You have one seeing what the eyes may have be blind to before. Magnificent writing. I too will welcome you to Passions, although I have not been in a while I can tell you it is the most loving poetry site on the net and you will be embraced by them all. Keep posting. Your work is unique and very beautiful. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Has the lost one returned? This wunnerful lil poetic community could only hope, eh? Welcome, Jason! Now..on to the poetry. As usual this, in my opinion, has perfect flow. I always did like that you could do that so well. It will certainly be a treat reading your work whenever you get to come around here. Welcome home. You always did belong here too. Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence. |
