smiles monopolising their faces,
dirt-clothed, sand-treaded, sun-basked
children came
rushing out of their
small cramped essential-based wooden huts,
waving frantically
chanting unanimously
in their foreign tongue

leaving this touristy intruder
awed by how
materially-underendowed them
seemed to have
a knack for happiness
as our motorboat sped past

Ah, good one here Kaile. They are the ones who have found true happiness. It can only come from within not from material possessions. Great write!

They Inspired you and that was the challenge my friend. It IS inspiring when you see others so happy yet they have so little. A timely reminder for us all I think.
