( a repost from two years ago - I love Eagles so much - i've anotheri the works - - Hope you like) Two eagles soaring in the twilight sky One found prey in the waning day But far from where their nest did lie Struggling hard its wing did flay The other beneath its wings then flew Helping its mate to stay aloft Giving much more than it was due Reaching their nest a haven soft The tiny mouths there did devour The prey they'd brought to mountain lair She looked at him, he looked at her Her look says all: "Soared on your air" The first duty of love is to listen. |

That humankind could, should, take lessons from nature is all too obvious in this beautiful, quiet, spiritual piece... and it gives me peace. Thank you for this. |

I'm so glad you liked this - Birds of Prey - and the animals of our west charm me so much _ I'd be crushed if you didn't |

Beautifull as usual ! I'm fortunate to live in the country. Red tail hawks are very common - see several pairs daily. One pair nest within view of my house. There are also several sets of Golden eagles in the area. There are truely a great representation of nature's beauty and power - as is you verse. |
