There was nothing laid before me there was nothing quite complete filling up my mouth so sweet and leaving me with thoughts of greed... There was NOT a thing UNdone... there was NOT my only one... quivering beneath the sheets every map lamplit by street.. we are there, together, no? within the light of a halo, of every flame adrip in show-- I beg of you--let's dance flambeau! May the shadow cast the meaning every silence rest is keening-- every wail a tongue of will-- every tear a love in spill... Mercy this you find in me Mercy You'll abide in me.... Faith My hand a summoned quest Faith the trust of fingers wept... I will dip the nun's sweet noon... holiness, cannot come soon, and each priest I thought heard me was just another fantasy. Everything? I lose...I find. Not quite at the time, I MIND. Everything? I was before? Was just another padlocked door. |
