A New Day

I’ll coo you my words like birds in the blue
Like spews in the mist painting the dew.
Tinctures of Eden in glories new mourn
A garden for two will baptize the dawn.

Where butterfly wings give promise of more
Where heaven has smiled and opened its door.
Where the mind will reign in kindness and sane
Where time makes no difference, no sand to drain.

Where bells will ring in the sweet of rhyme
And you will vibrate the chine of its chime
Visiting mysteries of old times of yore
And fly in eternities evermore.

We’ll color all things the color of love
Touched with the velvet from heaven above.
Sing with the angels in valleys of green
Teeter and totter the absolute mean.

Hold hands through the rue of infinite lift
Burn candles to God for giving this gift.

All I can say is, I am grateful for the new way in which you allow me to read your works, and for all underlying meanings of where your words actually take us....

thank you Sy....

Hey, look out into the crowd....no not there...over here!!! See that big tiki torch waving back and forth in the middle of all those bic lighters??? That's me.

This piece is a masterpiece of both content and perfect cadence mixed with a superb example of writing style. Your rhyme, your choice of words and the composition of this whole piece would make a great case study on how to do it properly and set a goal for us all to reach. Excelllent read sir. Loved it much.

Seems like that's a part of it all..." hold hands through the rue of infinite lift" If one can realize that there is always a certain amount of pain to combat through life and face that pain with objective and strength then one can realize the substance of eternal happiness....there's always sunshine after rain....good write!!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.
