5681 That Loss Inside 05 September 2006 There will always be a loss a loss inside, that place not to hide As pain does endure, and memory not forget gone away, yet still here to behold His heart, her soul, mother, father, kin that race we all run, that death can beat Teardrops of failure, such defeat there is always something not to enjoy We mourn, we banish our feelings away then we look back, in screaming "WHY?" The torn ripping, damning under light there will always be a loss, a loss inside Never to fear, to keep and retain every memory, one to rejoice To look to God and say "CRIKEY!" it was your bloody choice "remembering Steve Irwin" Crocodile Hunter Born 22 February 1962 (Melbourne, Australia) died 04 September 2006 © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
