5683 Fate in Breath 05 September 2006 They call it love, others say amour that beauty, a word, or alluring to share Her eyes, his heart, souls of fate in breath This planet of islands, continents and sea water in oceans, able to travail, warm cold and free Such passion, memories of a midnight to dawn They call it love, some say hate so what was one, another than two A coupling in conquest, the mourning due Sadness and loneliness, this place to dwell or was it flowers of scent to encounter Her body of aroma, his stench, beautified Lost and out of touch, found and all at sea this place so damn small, how big could it be “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13: 34-35 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |
