On grass so very verdant damp One past crow the teeming camp Of waves of ants gleaming dark Come to feast on long dead art Bring mandibles that tear and rip While blackened blood's eerie drip So soft beats out this clouded noon The oft heard tune of empty doom Two bowing lines of soldier drones Enforce Queen's Law so none shall roam The funeral dirge by insect hummed Their meals arrival is so drummed Should you not then marvel too that not one note will sound askew in the singing slow cadence of so very many ants? "The world won't end in darkness, it'll end in family fun |

How'd I miss this? (I haven't been all here) No seriously, great work! I really like this just because it sort of reminds me of a story my grandpa used to tell me. (It just came to me while reading this!) He also used to quote some scripture something about going to the ant and seeing how they work without complaining... Anywho...I really enjoyed this! Thankyou much! ~Kira |
