She bites the chilling November wind, Lunges at the opportune moment,in stark solitude. Freedom! But for what? To roam endlessly alone, without a companion? Without one to share days and nights could be worse than being corralled alongside those who may not whinny the same tune. She bites the wind, turns tail into it, returns to the safety of the enclosed pasture. Perhaps tomorrow, a different outcome, though an unlikely scenario for a social creature. |
