Themed I find myself speaking my heart to the sky these days And nights… It doesn’t matter where we go, or end by rights Just the journey that we spent to get there Seeing forward, into possibility spread out before me I find red eyes that tempest far into a fiery sea An age of advanced thinking maybe, copper clad ordeal When did we cease to feel? Phone lines quiver in extremity Taking my first step into the realm of lost amenably or hope E-living for the moment, on someone else’s rope, the terms That I cannot warm into, for comfort or thrill For I love you still When founded on the strength of friendship Does that boat ever sink? Never in a storm I think, for it is you so softly by me I have come into my own, by voice and will Giving everything, and every part of me until The one that lights my sky is safely home, tenderly to roam The wild footsteps all along my water’s edge Looking in your eyes my heart won’t hedge For then on lover’s lips shall I divulge my dreams Making our reality of everything it seems Faithfully to ride the waves of days held hand in hand Copyright Kkh 10/16/06 |

Great write! I personelly liked this part: "I have come into my own, by voice and will Giving everything, and every part of me until The one that lights my sky is safely home, tenderly to roam The wild footsteps all along my water’s edge" "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." |
