The poet and the Jew
a beautiful man in love
His body strong and beautiful
her heart warm and soft

The gentile, the Christ of love
this man God gave in Son
To know him was charity
to walk with him was
never a void to fall

God gave Christ
His only begotten
God gave voice
the voice of a Jew

To this end
I was born
God gave me
to love you
