Who can reach into the sun,
and steal away its light,
Or shatter the hold that darkness
has upon the night?
Who can lessen the glory,
that's been given to the rose,
Or learn the ocean's secrets,
that only nature knows?
Who can overlook the twinkle,
that adorns a star's crown,
Or truly know an eagle,
without listening to their sound?
Who can take away the innocence,
of a new born babe,
Or stop a brand new dawning,
of a summer's day?
Who can really know the suffering,
other people are going through,
Or understand their actions,
without walking in their shoes?
Who can find the winds beginning,
It comes and goes without a trace,
Or know the moment winter leaves,
and springtime takes it's place?
Who can understand true love,
the connection of the soul,
Or reason why as true love came,
true love will sometimes go?

   I like this a lot.... asks questions that only the individual soul can answer.  Your meter, rhyme and structure was most enjoyable... I sense a growth in your style.

Thank you Ken..Most of the poems I have written in the past are not polished. Here recently these blue pages have inspired me to do re-writes.
