oh how does your soul
rage
at the shadows of times
lost

   ~michael

oh but the stories we told each other
I told you dreaming flannel arms
you told me seeing purple roses
you told me flying
soul splitting
finding my princess shoes
I told you I know heart joy
is followed by heart pain

    how zen
    you said

are you pulling my hair?

   would you like me to?

giggles make bubbles in my belly
feel like living life all over again
with you always there

   you deny lost time
   you said
   now flatten that one
   miss zen

I slapped playfully
get back to business
soulflier

there is time and time
to make up for

and time to waste

on each other

The intimate depth of this
was like looking in on a soul's opera

and I blinked...ashamed...

and kept reading.

Yes, you were right with the first posting,
and my response...

and it is a depth that
one might not share....

but a poet? Could.

Should.

and Has.
