This morning’s sky
was blazing a canopy of ochre mood
like an untamed heart,
watering thought-provoking kernels
muscular,
intellectual keenness,
leaving me trembling
with its shock
of immeasurable deepness
taking
possession,
like a moon path of loving arms
stretching to some great horizon,
dancing braless
like a winged creature
in arrogant flight
peeling souls
of unbelievers
into moonlighted crystalline
drawing closer still,
insistent amethyst vapors
melting into sounds
deep as any soul could fathom
and still believe
composing some semblance of
godly art
and I thought,
“am I lost inside some
megalithic city?”
"probably not!",
but for this time,
I shall wallow
in this inner water-front
of timeless courtyards
strewn
like
mangroves
across the continent
of my very small life

verdant beliefs,
like springs of fresh water
maligning
with this village
of morning,
rhythmically
neighboring my soul
I am wrought
in this condition
of balsamic persuasion
and would take
in any combination
the slightest promise of
it’s human part,
even if
great drowsiness
consumed me again

I was swept
into a heart of oblivion
for a moment
where theory lights
seemed a bit insane
and in that moment,
of full radiance,
I was again,
in deepest sleep
in a moon pool
of luminescence
tentacles of heaven
pulsed
through
some
levitated
music,
that brought tears of joy
to my eyes

(sigh) how could anyone not know of love?
great faith leaped circles around me…
consciousness returned
much to my dismay, my weakness leaned
toward the now
yet to be’s

Dear sweety, reading you is like jumping into a large box of jelly beans, where you
always get a soft fall and a sweet taste in your mouth.

Epic...and alarmingly good. I particularly loved these lines:

"insistent amethyst vapors
melting into sounds
deep as any soul could fathom"

I think these held a touch of something sublime. You truly are a magical poet
