My Place Now! Sad weary and disalusioned lifes journey is a hard one,I lift my voice in the rising sun reaching out to those who have gone before. Ancient faces in my dreams giving comfort,love,and peace,smiling gently as they whisper answers gifting me their Sacred knowledge. Tree branches swaying in fall breezes soft hints of winter kissed within them,leaves changing to rainbow colors reminding of the Circles turning. Puffy clouds across the face of Father Sky bringing relief and coolness,summer heat is fading fast time to gather for winter. Mints,blackberry,barks and Cedar,sage,sweet grass,and Rosemary,all the herbs taught by grandmother safely dried and store for using. Cattail,yams,and sweet corn,such peace it brings into my home,and now to begin a time of renewal,time for quiet reflection beading,weaving,sewing. Soft bird song joins my prayers lifts my heart and spirit,I still hear the voices of the old ones speaking quietly in our own tonuge. Days gone by and those to come of family who wait on the other side,I realize it is to my songs the children now listen smiling with love as I sing them. My own winter time of life approaches and I know I look forward to it,there is no fear of growing no rush to find a way to stay younger. The shallow,callow days of youth are past my Circle turns and I am glad,harder now to sit and rise at the story fire,ah,but my place now is assured. They wait with loving patience as I take my place,see to my comfort with respect,showing honor to both me and themselves I am satisfied we have done well!

My Lady sister in truth your names are each within my dawning prayers,for you have here brought a softness into my life with your loving acceptance of someone who has fought her whole life simply to be seen as human. It is to you each my heart gives thanks! blessings
