Can we meet in the twilight or touch in the dark, Will the passion live on... evermore, Could our love live eternal - since we embarked, From an ocean of doubt near a perilous shore. If those fires of love should fade in our hearts, Will we each take our turn with love’s fan, For the course will be hidden... with treacherous parts, And its length; shall seem double its span. Though the days may seem gloomy and nightfall brings fear, It’s our love that will feed both our souls, When life seems all hazy – the land will appear, For life is the ship... with love its controls. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |

For life is the ship... with love its controls. yes, love seems to be a very important part of our life doesn't it - we yearn for it, we get it, we abuse it, we lose it ... then we start all over again... nice write and flow to this my sweet Bill RDB |

Many waters have I sailed *lol* and either my ship gets lost or is sunken by cupids brother "evil cupid" who shoots arrows of heartbrokeness. Roniece In my belief I believe that if we where patient, God would lead us to our "Soul Mate." I think we as humans push and shove into a love that was never intended for us. I believe in my heart if I had more faith, and patience that infact I may have never experienced the pain of heartbreak |
