She seemed so shocked when she read my poem. Even more so when she learned it was penned her own. A wondering thought runs through my mind. How could poetry leave an angel behind. Never a poem penned just for her? So shocking a thought, a crime for sure. More deserving a subject could never be. So much inspiration for poetry. Eyes like stars glowing bright. Fiery deep with angelic light. Supple hair softly flowing. Surround face warmly glowing. A smile so bright the sun does pale. Lifts the spirits like wind to sail. A laugh that breathes life into your soul. Happiness and fun its only goal. A love of music that knows no bounds. At one with the lyrics, in tune with the sounds. A warmth of heart and depth of soul. Can not help but take their toll. Bringing joy for all to share. How can anything begin to compare. She is so amazing, its plain to see. What more inspiration is needed, for poetry? |
