The Summer left me dry falling, damp and wet had my branches not once wore a coat of pink and drizzled ambers between their greens, my limbs basking in you as you leave me ... bare I'd never feel the the loss of you if not for grey decembers that fill the window seats where once we held the other, spring blossoms struggling as petals turned out before letting go like snowflakes we'd fall .... scattered in distant views that resurrect on whims and dreams still longing for the touch of all seasons, the reasons why together we still exist |
