It Suits Me I really don't care anymore whether I see you or not, I don't care what you think about when you stop to have a thought. It's too damn cold these days and you're nothing to warm up to, fuel costs too much to be out running around, waiting on you. I've too many things to do to keep it warm at home, now that I'm in my older age I have no urge to roam. But I thank you for the times of passion, risk, and love, and when I stop to have a thought, that's just what I'm thinking of. It's enough to make me smile, to think of how I fell... thinking on my feet now, yeah, it suits me well. A poem begins with a lump in the throat. ~Robert Frost |

I don't care what you think about when you stop to have a thought. I wish sometimes that it was that easy for me to get someone out of my head. Overall I liked the poem, and was clear. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |
