We were meant to be together
Your hand fit perfectly in mine
Together forever was the way it should have been
But those dreams were quickly shattered
When you said you would rather talk to you mom than me
You said you loved me
But I guess your mom was more important than me
I guess that we will never be
I guess we were never really meant to be
But my heart tells me differently
It’s hard knowing feeling as though you’re the one
And knowing that we will never be

Sometimes people try to force something that no longer is there. I agree with the comment above. There was a few grammer mistakes that need to be re-edited. I totally understand this poem, and thought it was ok. Thank you for sharing it.
