when the moon runs away
and the stars burn out,
when darkness leaves me lonely
and my heart is full of doubt,
when the rain starts to pour
and the path seems to end,
when I'm bare in the cold
and shivering in the wind,
when home seems miles away
and I have no clue in which direction,
I know I'll be alright because
I have one reliable connection

and it ain't Cingular

when all have turned their backs,
no rollover minutes, no lines to share,
one thing I will never doubt
when the moon runs away and the stars burn out

God will always be there.

I don't think that your stars will ever all burn out or the moon will ever leave you.  You have too much beauty inside you --

Happy Thanksgiving -

Now that is AWESOME (even if sad), nevertheless in its own mood light, beautiful all the same

and I did mean mood light, so that was not a typo on my part

my heart was touched, and is that not positive, in relation to poetry and a reason to express, by way of this art form

Dear Dixie, faith is a wonderful thing and often the unknowing makes the heart further believe, my backstop and my comfort I always find in hope and faith.
A wonderful write here my friend, very much enjoyed.

Dixie - You're right that we're never alone but wouldn't it be nice sometimes, just sometimes, if "someone" would point us in the right direction?  Enjoyed the read, as usual!
