                  what am i to do

when i'm still in love with you

and i know he walks next to you to pursue

               the gum you chew?

pretend your Bubble Yums won't ensue?

how can i do that when he's had way more than double the amount of time i've had in filling your ear drums with tales that could glue

any lad

                  to his soulmate?
