IT BREAKS MY HEART TO CATCH YOU Where there is smoke there’s fire Of that you can be sure. I can’t believe I trusted you And believed in who you were. You told me it was me you loved With no need for someone new. All you wanted was my heart and soul And my promise to be true. For whatever reason you blew it And from me you must stay away. You called me by another’s name When it was our time to play. It breaks my heart to catch you; Here's your cloths in a sack You choose to cheat and lie to me So get out and never come back. It breaks my heart to catch you; Hears your cloths in a sack You choose to cheat and lie to me So get out and never come back. Siyo Tom Zart, sadly brother there are those who do these things both male and female, they are not sure in their hearts of who or what they are and go from person to person seeking assurance that they have value. Never understanding one love that is true is worth more than anything they will ever find running from themselves.Until they are happy with self they will keep seeking,it is we who care about them that hurt and yet we can not gather wisdom for them! blessings!

maybe it's a typo or maybe I read it wrong but shouldn't it be "here's your clothes in a sack"? hope this poem isn't written from personal experience because I know how much it hurts to catch someone cheating |

I like your poetry, "Most Published Poet on the Web" (grins) -- It's sad but I like your style (the poem is sad--not that I like it ~ grins again). A |

Interesting poetry. While Love as Agape does exist, for most people, love is a word assigned to a biochemical state indistinguishable from the effects of metabolizing large quantities of good chocolate. Hollywood makes much of this state of mind and body, but then movie theaters survive by selling popcorn, candy and sugared, drinks at inflated prices. To compare, loyalty is an understanding of acceptance burned into the soul by the fires of karma and reflected in the light of reality by choices of the will; it is what most souls crave. |
