bound in bronze
no window
danae pined
for what she did not know
tears of azure purity
flowed uphill
gods on mt olympus
were covered with her grief

zeus meant only to cheer her
yet found her so pale
so comely
round curved
in her heartpain
passion poured his life through bronze
he lay conquered
a shower of
gold
in her lap
beguiling
as gods can be

she foreswore him not
what mortal woman
would tear her wounded eyes
from fair zeus
shake her skirts of his head
and say
begone
in your splendor

what mortal woman
looks to her future
when dark curls
fill her lap
god breath
whispers on her skin
what mortal woman
weeps
facing that moment

zeus turned wine lips
to her mouth
sealed her destiny
with sweetness

bound in bronze
no window
danae received him
pined
no more

ah
we mortal women
are no match for the mangods
who bless our laps
in a shower of
gold

O'siyo Lady, sadly at times it takes not so much a god to turn the head of a poor womans heart as the sweet words of caring,eh?Your peom is a reflection of the need for being needed maybe? It is beautiful!

When I once again congeal from this puddle into which I have melted I shall read more of what you write and I love to read

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
