A New Beginning Winter sculpts its void. Nature abhors a vacuum. Spring fills the abyss. I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires. -Khalil Gibran |

Hi, TM. Ah, but outer space is not a literal vacuum. It is filled throughout the universe with atoms, "dark matter" (or something else that we can't see), and lots and lots of beautiful stars, solar systems and constellations. What a sad, lonely belief to think that outer space is merely a vacuum. And as for the line, "Nature abhors a vacuum," that was a figurative, POETIC interpretation. There is a seeming dearth of life, a "vacuum" if you will, yet we all know that the life is there. It just takes the slightest warmth of springtime to coax the vacuum to fill, and thrive, with life. I was kidding, and as far as the cold dead beauty of space is concirned, to think that nothingness is ugly is a superficial way of thinking is it not? relax and laugh more, my coments weren't a criticism, but a poke for laughing. PS your message is clear as a crystal under white light, no need for explainations of vacumes and things. Sorry if i seemed a dulled. I am the two-toed wanderer |

Hi, TM. Guilty as charged! I am a BIT sensitive. I'm afraid that I have the "ugly baby" syndrome. That's where telling a writer that his/her writings might have some "flaw" is the same as telling a new mother that she has an ugly baby. No apologies necessary. I see with your added comments in your edited post what you truly meant. Thanks for your clarification and your kind words.
