What I remember most is that big rock with steps carved into it and the moment we were climbing it. I stuck my head out of the vines hanging below my torso and looked out at you. I don't know if you saw me or not, but it looked like you were smiling at me and it was as if the whole world stopped.

~ JoJo Johnson, 11 years old

my little gift girl
a pair of long legs
with eyes

wisp of air
speaking of memories
as if you are old enough to have them

only a moment ago
you held my finger
spoke your first babbleword
sang
way down yonder on the Indian nation
rode my pony on the reservation
laughing
bouncing on my knee
no notion of what it meant
but you sure could belt it

and now
you tell me
the whole world stopped
on the side of a rock

young memory serves you well
my golden girl
I felt it too
yes
the whole world stopped
when I smiled at you

Lady Kate, it is apparent that the petal fell close to the rose. You both have such lovely, poetic souls.

Like yourself, she is a very old soul and can offer much beauty to this world.

God bless you both!

Loving Light,
Linda
