There is a World

There a world Twix night and day
Where children’s hearts go off to play
It is a phantoms Isle of goal
Another world where lives the soul

Like zeros of computers path
It’s here where ones the base of math
Its one that stays within the core
It’s only this and nothing more

Its here my mind can hear the fife
Its here I see the dance of life
Where beats the drums every season
And the logic of a reason

But life consists of night and day
Where children grow and live and play
But one and one that stays your core
Will stay with you forever more

So never lose your phantoms Isle
We’re only here a little while

Seymour~
And in my 'little whiles' ...
I shall have been blessed to know the poetry of your soul~
For that ... I am eternally grateful~

Again, for me....the following is
like an entire poem ‘writ’ in
one line!
[like the grand H. D. Thoreau
   could do!]:

“It is a phantoms Isle of goal”

And, I love the entire couplet:

“It is a phantoms Isle of goal
Another world where lives the soul”

OR:

“Its here my mind can hear the fife
Its here I see the dance of life”

god that’s good!...readin’ this poem...
what a way to start my morning!
[grand ‘cheer’ for this sad and
  darklin’ rainy day!....wish I had
  here instead....a frozen ‘river of
dreams’ to skate away on to
  Seymour’s ‘World’ !!]

Good morning, Sir Sigh!

"There a world Twix night and day
Where children’s hearts go off to play
It is a phantoms Isle of goal
Another world where lives the soul"

~ I could read those lines over and over again!
They sing to my soul! ~ and to that of my inner child!

You, Dear Poet, will never grow old! The mirror (and your joints!) may say otherwise, but you and I both know that your spirit will be forever young!
