MY mothers shape kinda round, bunched not straight, hunched kinda soft,like marshmallow, wobbles, smells sweet, like jello. Head held high, shuffling gate swollen an ankles, arthritic joints bad bowels, no complaint. Naive, astute private and proud, softly spoken, never loud. Held in a flash of memory an image, a tender thought that brings a single tear. So missing my mothers shape A silent wish that she were here. Love you Mum.xx |
