Hope of Today
06 November 2006

Today comes hope,
this day of beginning.
A moment to think,
but could rekindled love.

This day of desire,
of promises of old,
That search for love,
her density to hold.

If only from prayer,
came an answer.
The quest needed the most,
the one of trust, to honour in amour.

Today comes faith, if only to restore.
A beginning, not resolved, yet close in heart.
To mend the pain, to understand the proof,
for where was love, unless both under a single roof.

"My soul fainteth for thy salvation:
but I hope in thy word."
Psalms 119: 81 KJV

I thought you were the one who was beautiful on that "yellow brick road".

When to write and compose a poem in under five minutes does at times bring better results than at other times.
