The dusk exudes a familiar fragrance Which sits with me through time of struggle and strife It could be there just to haunt my delicate mind, Or toy with my lingering grief, Yet every chance taken by the moon That warns the stars of universal insolence Is masked by the rolling thunders’ contempt And is ignored by mother nature’s malicious muse. |
