Come lover, rest easy your mind and write
A poem for me on this night.
This darkness reflected by our deepness;
Never observed, your eyes not ready.
You and I can be cleaver no longer, to boast.
We are one! I am the body, and you are the ghost.

In clandestine places, where my reach does not follow,
Your endless beauty can seem so hollow,
But thus is for not, I know you’re only human;
Infinitely restricted, infinite bound.
We must love each other completely, for truth
Cannot be seen if a page is removed.

I will give pleasure, if such is your will,
But you can give better with your own observations, still,
I can make for moments, that which is golden;
The sex of a lover, the sex of my hands.
Superficial I know, but soothing no less.
My love is a beauty, her body, her dress.
Yours is the second of the rising sun comparing to her.
Where the hours grow longer in the season.
Incomprehensible.

You are the words; I am the speaker.
I am the finite; you are the weaker.
Tell beauty now to stay, so she can go home
Before tomorrow, she said she had no plans;
No one had seen her in as many ages
As the book made in life turns one second into pages.

Please make me strong; as strong life lets me linger.
That’s what you want,right, long life as a singer?
I will coax you to keep me; I’m no prison of time.
Death is pain, death is mortality, fear it!
Life is pleasant, to feel love, to feel.
To live in this world so blindly is real.
Take it in acceptance, for what it is, and what it should be.
Admit it, you don’t want to die completely.

What were we before we were born?
Do not ask, do not try for answers: What is nonexistence? What is death?
For inside you are but stagnant air, waiting for the wind.
Be felled by just sight; be enthralled by a word –God.
You are born with nothing; you will die with nothing.
You are nothing before birth; you are nothing after death.
Rejoice in the chaos of the world,
Yet take no wisdom from the broken words of the mind,
Influenced by the body; for flesh and for sin.

I am the two-toed wanderer

I have been to read this a few times and will be back.  There is so much here and it kind of grabs at me.  You have some absolutely wonderful lines.

I must agree with alison. This is worthy of many reads, each one unveiling some new secret missed the first time around.

You know how to spin words.
