Be still; the whispers have yet to write a romance,
and don’t grieve for me if I disappear without a trace.
Think, those flowers you grew—call them a part of me,
remember those days when we’d rest in-between them--
O I have founded a stronger bond with you than daisy chains
call it unkindness if you will—but mourn not my departing.

Now I pace in the dream of injured foundations;
still it endured a minute of an hour in a day.
Is it the season for the earth to grant an adventure,
injustice comes from the factual hurting--
bring me the timeless grave of heroism
and let us be the leafless trees wanting to gather;
the bitterness into one place letting our hearts decide.

The tear fell like a pearl in the wake of a silver cloud,
granting the floor a touch; before it bounced--
up towards the birthplace of your eyes
then disappeared into the clear waters;
the surface rippled and formed a memory--
becoming nothing more than a glimpse of love.

I have placed my fears aside and become obsessed,
slain by my own guilt that you said wasn’t mine.
Where is the violence that comes from loss?
But I’m still shattered I have become numb--
O the breathing slow with my eyes closed
seems to allow me to feel your arms around me;
and this—that is drunkenness of the past.

How they were swept from me in a vision,
you came—I might stand upon a single person
of course I meant you—who knows.
Was it determination that leads me to my sorrows--
that infinite sigh that hung from my shoulders
yet still I stand, till that wondrous moment;
that sweeps me away along with the memories.

One of the best pieces I have read here...Spoken clearly and truthfully from the heart and soul..it does not get much better.
