Bring to me the salt of sea
proof that stars weep and the skies
have eyes that watch us hypnotized
just like we watch on CNN
statues veined in marble, when
things we thought unthinkable
are played for us and angles bend
the truth in snide reality
spun to cut to sponsor
timed
adjusting our capacity
indulgence rectified to fit
our limited digestive wits
controlled by all the silences
annoyed by nodding anchorman
pretending that he understands
just before he speaks the lies

verbatim

(thoughts of "otherwise")

too shallow for a tranquilized

death-dive into the deep end

of the greenscreen

screaming "THEM"

and all our enemies are spooled
alphabetically and I
am weeping
tears into a pool
wondering perplexity
if I'm a God or I'm a Fool
waging waves
and salts of me
damning galaxies to this:

I wish I never thought of it

for thinking, surely, made it so.

I can only give you a hug and say though I am not in your shoes...I understand your words.

Wow, Ser.  This is an amazing piece.  My mama always told me not to think or say some things or I would make it happen.  You are not a god btw....you are a goddess!   ....jo

There is nothing we can't think of, surprising ourselves at times. It's difficult not to indulge in depressing thoughts when watching certain things ...

But you have created a powerful poem, activating a process of liberation.

You are no doubt a goddess (I do believe we are all of Divine Nature) and being aware of this helps to bring along a change.

Love,
Margherita

I am still trying to think of something to say. But I thought you would let you know that I am amazed.

Well done!
Watch what you speak into reality, though, unless it is that you won the lottery

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

sigh

I don't wanna be a god.

So I think I'll just stay a fool.

Thanks all for reading. This was inspired by staring at my big toe. (Seriously) I noticed I needed to trim my nail, and was thinking I was about to slough off a whole crescent of an inner universe...

(serenity taps her head <--somedays it's a happy place in there...)

thanks all
