To Dream of You

Only when I dream,
do I dream of you.
Because in my life,
your were essential too.

Each day, each night,
to hold you in my arms.
To feel your embrace,
and understand your voice.

Every day, no one to ask,
these prayers to God.
The Almighty, as to Him,
in regard of you, my dream, my choice

For only when I dream, do I dream of you,
your pretty face, your lovely eyes.
Your smile, your soul, the Careyann I know,
only when I dream, does all that loving show

You see things; and you say, 'Why?'
But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?"
