5766 Forever and Forevermore 31 October 2006 To focus on you, and feel your spirit inside. To reach out, in knowing our love was not there to hide. Yet separated, divided by birth, your green eyes and mine of grey to blue. How I long to be there, right next to you, and say those words I know to be true. My desire to express such destiny, to hold your hand in mine. Touching your fingertips, and breathing your air, and run my fingers through your flowing hair. This whether or knot, this day after the storm, where everything will be of an outlook fine. To feel your beautiful face resting upon my chest, in this knowledge of love, our love of the best. To have waited a life time, and a moment more. For I have waited, each and every day to love you, and love you forever, - forevermore “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” Isaiah 55: 3 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares [This message has been edited by poettothecars (10-31-2006 03:21 AM).] |

That longing is indeed so true, yet is out of my hands, even if more close in hand each day that passes. Thank you for your kind comments Christopher a poet who cares |
