5768 Eyes of Compassion 31 October 2006 A child of God, a spirit of compassion, unto Leigh, in eyes golden. Her heart, her heaven, this haven of Christ beholden. For she was thunder, enlightenment and the wind, this promise of forgiveness in an eternal round. A gathering sought, the kind of trust, this rainbow of deity, of a Saviour found. If only to dream and find acceptance, this symbol of driven force. The Knight, the angel, the lion, a lamb upon a horse. Serenity, for what was right, choices, to call or be chosen. As each day comes a resurrection, the one of secondary to none. The day the tranquillity, this Christ coming forth the only begotten Son. "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." John 3: 15-17 KJV © 2006 Christopher W Herbert (a New Zealand Poet) a poet who cares |

Who I composed the above poem for was most grateful, as to kindness and how it can be universal. Thank you for leaving a few thoughts behind a poet who cares |
