Things Change Time brings changes and we fell prey, I wondered if I could still be happy here, looked around for a reason to stay, things are not always as they appear, I still look in the rearview anyway. The morning awakes and starts to crawl but this town doesn't sparkle anymore. When the sun sets over the same stone wall, the lights don't shine like they did before, truth is...now they don't shine at all. I figure I can smile even if I grieve. Anyway, if I cried, you wouldn't see the reason you think I shouldn't leave isn't reason enough for me. Things change and so did we. |

DixieDoodleGal~ Yes ... as time brings changes ... we adjust as best we can~ Sometimes, that's a good, good thing~ Like the new photo, lady~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

Dixie, You continue to write straight from the heart. I felt these to be very honest and sentimental words expressed here in your poem. Thank you for sharing them and thank you for allowing us all to be a part of your daily living. God bless you. -Bob |
