The Barmaid and the Mermaid (A fun play with words) He caught at last an awesome catch for her was but to tell… “He caught a lass! An awesome catch for her butt was a tail!!!” The barmaid caught a fisherman— He caught, alas, A measly catch For her’s was but a tale. Smiles. Thanks guys for reading and for commenting. Unfortunately, this was a most sad excuse resulting from my mis-judgement and getting up way too early to write with my mind half asleep and still playing manipulative word games. Thanks again. -Bob |

A clever tale, at that! Those hooks, lines and sinkers are not always what they're cracked up to be. |
